It’s not just the color
The Bonneville Bobber range gets a meaner and higher specification Bobber Black. Besides the blacked-out elements, the black edition features some interesting performance updates. It was lauched alongside the new Bonneville Speedmaster.
Bonneville Bobber Black key features:
- New 47mm Showa fork (the standard comes with 41 mm KYB)
- Fat16-inch front wheel
- Twin-disc front-end (the standard version comes with single disc)
- Brembo calipers (the standard features a single Nissin)
- New 5-inch full-LED multi-function headlight, which includes Triumph’s signature daytime running light system
Virtually every component this bike has is painted in black: black handlebars, brake pedal, footrests, gear lever, brake & clutch levers and fenders all joining the blacked out engine and sprocket covers. Add to that the black wheel hubs, black exhaust headers, and black twin-skin slash cut stubby silencers that deliver the rich and raw Bobber sound.
The liquid cooled, 8 valve parallel twin produces 76Bhp (57 kW) @ 6,100rpm and peak torque of 106Nm @ 4,000rpm, up to 10% more torque than the Bonneville T120.
