2017 New Yamaha MT-09 [FZ-09] Review – Our Video

Yamaha MT-09 [FJ-09 in the USA] was a hit since itís market debut. The brilliantly simple recipe consisting of an engaging triple, low weight, comfort and competitive price transformed the first bike of the Yamaha MT series into a hit. However, it still had some weaknesses. With competitive rivals such as Kawasaki Z900 and Triumph Street Triple, Yamaha didnít want to lose the match. So it came with some important updates for the 2017 MT-09. 

In brief: new look, improved suspension, slippery clutch, standard quick shifter. In our MT-09 review we tried to find out if Yamaha fixed the issues reported on the first generation. We had a full-day 500 km test ride, on the twisty roads of the Carpathian Mountains. You can watch the film in the window below or
