A 1,000 km ride through the Alps
The F850GS Adventure is the more comfortable, larger fuel tank, version of the standard BMW F850GS. It’s powered by a parallel twin engine producing 95 horsepower, and it features a 23 liters fuel tank, bigger windshield, and a complete aluminum luggage set. We took it out for a 1.000 km ride in the Alps to see how good it really is for touring.
We started our trip from Munich and we had a fast ride through the famous German Autobahn (no speed limits). Then we switched to the curvy roads in the Alps, a perfect place to see how nimble it really is and how much fun you can have on the mountain roads. We spent a day at the Concorso D’Eleganza Villa D’Este, where we met the new BMW R18 Concept, then we took the way back to Munich.
