The famous Africa Twin against BMW’s R1200GS makes for an interesting battle for the best big-adventure title. Two different approaches designed with the same idea – ready for adventure. The Africa Twin comes with chain drive and a 21-inch front wheel, while the GS has shaft drive and a 19-inch front wheel. There was no way do a usual review.
So we packed our bags and went on a trip to Montenegro. We’ve passed the Tara Canyon, camped in the Durmitor National Park and, towards the final point of the journey, reached the Kotor Bay, a winding gulf of the Adriatic sea. Spectacular places to visit with breathtaking panoramas.
We’ve rode on highways, secondary roads, narrow mountain roads, and off-road in our quest to find the winner. The bikes were truly up for the adventure during this superb trip. You can check out the review below or directly on our YouTube Channel.
