Honda VFR800X Crossrunner Video Review

The V4 all-rounder from Honda

The Honda VFR800X Crossrunner is a bike that gives you thrills. The punchy V4 engine and the aggressive lines will raise your appetite for touring. The comfortable position and the long travel suspension will give you a plush ride on any type of road.

When it comes to trips, it all resumes to twisty roads and the Crossrunner is ready for the job. We took a VFR800X Crossrunner on a trip to the seaside, and we were amazed by its appetite for fast cornering.

The Honda VFR has a lot of history behind, but the VFR800 is well known for the Honda fans. The impressive torque and engine sound are the soul fuel that stands tall for the new generation VFR800X Crossrunner.

The last serious upgrade was in 2015 when the engine was redesigned for more mid-range, and the bodywork was reshaped. To make it safer, Honda fitted the VFR800X with Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) system.

The sport touring segment is filled with a lot of choices like the Yamaha Tracer 900, Triumph Tiger 800, Multistrada 950 and BMW S1000XR. The Honda VFR800X is a bike to consider, but it still needs a bit more refinement to become a leader in the class.
