The Honda VFR has a lot of history behind, but the VFR800 is well known for the Honda fans. The impressive torque and engine sound are the soul fuel that stands tall for the new generation VFR800X Crossrunner.
The last serious upgrade was in 2015 when the engine was redesigned for more mid-range, and the bodywork was reshaped. To make it safer, Honda fitted the VFR800X with Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) system.
The sport touring segment is filled with a lot of choices like the Yamaha Tracer 900, Triumph Tiger 800, Multistrada 950 and BMW S1000XR. The Honda VFR800X is a bike to consider, but it still needs a bit more refinement to become a leader in the class.
