2016 Ducati Desmosedici GP Photo Gallery ‒ Spread the Wings

Ducati revealed its 2016 Desmosedici GP. Here are some high-resolution pics with Andrea Dovizioso’s and Andrea Iannone’s bike.

Among the changes to the previous’ season bike are the four aerodynamical wings which transform the Desmo GP into a machine which looks like a Formula 1 car. Or like a plane ‒ depending on the angle you look at it. 

The 1,000 cc V4 has a maximum power of more than 245 hp, while the maximum speed of the bike is over 340 km/h (211 mph). If features Ducati Seamless Transmission (DST_EVO). 

According the regulations, the 2016 Desmosedici GP embodies the Magneti Morelli ECU programmed with Dorna Unified software. 

The Brembo braking system consists of two 320 mm/340 mm carbon front discs with four-piston calipers and a single stainless steel rear disc. 

It has a 157 kg weight and the larger wheels (17 inches) are fitted with Michelin tires.
