KTM presented its 790 Duke Prototype. The first motorcycle in KTM’s history to feature a parallel twin engine.
The 790 Duke will be just the beginning of a platform for future KTM and Husqvarna middleweight models.
We’re all familiar with the energic single cylinder KTM bikes or with the ballistic V-Twins. But this is a premiere for KTM.

We don’t have too many details about the bike. Considering what we just saw at EICMA, it will be a compact and lightweight sport-oriented naked bike. Of course, when going on series production, it will have the same shiny electronics like other nowadays KTM Bikes: ride-by-wire throttle, rider modes, and traction control.
There is no news about the date KTM 790 Duke will be presented as a series model, but it shouldn’t be earlier than 2018.
