2017 KTM Adventure Range Prices Announced

KTM updated its Adventure Family for 2017. Here are the prices for the new bikes

The cheapest KTM Adventure Bike you can buy costs €12,895. If you want the long-travel top of the range bike you must pay €17,995. Unfortunately, KTM didn’t announce the pricing for the U.S.A. on the official website yet, while the dealers say that the price is available “by request”. 

The 1190 model disappeared from the range and will be replaced by the 1290 Adventure S. The 1050 was transformed to 1090 and the old 1290 Super-Adventure will be named Super-Adventure T.

KTM 1090 Adventure – €12,895, 11,299.00 GBP – not available in the U.S.A.

Main features: 19-inch front, cast wheels, 228 kg, 23 litres fuel tank, 125 horsepower, ride-by-wire, slippery clutch, riding modes, off-road ABS and Traction Control. It’s the entry-level KTM travel-bike, WP suspension.

KTM 1090 Adventure R – €14,295, 12,149.00 GBP 

Main features: Basically, it has the same features as the 1090 Adventure Version. But it comes with off-road spoked wheels (21-inch front), Continental TCK 80 Twinduro tires, fully adjustable WP suspension, radially-mounted Brembo Calipers, crash-bars, a more adventure riding position.

KTM 1290 Super Adventure R – €16,995, 14,499.00 GBP

Main features: a ballistic 1,301 cc engine capable of 140 Nm of torque and 160 hp. 21-inch front, wire-spoked wheels, fully adjustable WP suspension, crahsbars, steering dampers, radially-mounted calipers, lean-sensitive combined-abs with off-road mode, lean-sensitive traction control, 23-liter fuel tank, a new LED headlight, cruise control, slippery clutch, all-new TFT dashboard and USB phone socket. 

KTM 1290 Super Adventure S – €16,495, 14,299.00 GBP – not available in the U.S.A. 

Main features: while the R version is more adventurous, the S is more street-focused. It comes with a 19 inch front and cast wheels. The windshield is larger and the calipers are not radially-mounted anymore. Also, it doesn’t feature a crashbar and it comes with a more street-oriented seat. 

KTM 1290 Super Adventure T – €17,995, 15,499.00 GBP

Main features: It’s the old Super Adventure. Although the most expensive, it doesn’t have the new LED headlight and the new TFT dashboard. On the other hand, it comes with a 30 liters fuel tank, wire-spoked wheels (19 inch front), radially-mounted calipers, semi-active suspension, crash-bars and LED cornering lights.
