2020 Ducati Streetfighter V4 – 220 HP. It’s Massive!

2020 Ducati Streetfighter V4 - 220 HP. It's Massive! 1

Ducati unveiled the most anticipated supernaked of the moment.

And the most potent series supernaked in the world: the Streetfighter delivers 208 horsepower in its standard version and 220 hp in the S version. That's outrageous for a supernaked, and it's 50 horsepower more to what we had so far.

The new Ducati Streetfighter is based on the Ducati Panigale V4. So people might say that it's just a Panigale without the beautiful red fairings, but it's more than that. Ducati had to make it street-friendly – you might want to use it as an everyday bike after all, so besides the new wide handlebar and the "moderate" riding position, it should come with a detuned version of the engine. However, the "bi-plane wings" are right there, the dash feels familiar, and the high-spec parts such as the Ohlins (for the S) suspension and high-end Brembo brakes are part of the show.

Our colleague Bogdanel is bringing us more details about the new Ducati Streetfighter in the video below.

The kerb weight is 178 kg, which brings us to an astonishing power-to-weight ratio. If you want more performance, you can go for the full-racing Akrapovic exhaust, which boosts power to 220 hp and reduces weight by 6 kg.

The S version features Marchesini forged wheels and Öhlins electrically controlled suspension (43 mm NIX30 forks and TTX36 monoshock) and steering damper. The latter uses the second-generation Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 system which, in addition to making full use of the IMU 6D provides a more rider-friendly interface.
