More details appear about the Superleggera V4 performance
The Superleggera V4 performance has been leaked on social media in a video explaining the aerodynamic capabilities and braking features. The superbike will make its official debut later today.
The 2020 Ducati Superleggera V4 represents a result of research on materials dynamics and engineering. The superbike had more than 15 test sessions on the Mugello track in the hands of Alessandro Valia, official Ducati tester, for the development of the superbike. Ducati used different engine mapping settings to refine the calibration of dynamics and engine.
Valia said that the braking features of the Superleggera V4 helped him use only one finger to brake in all corners. Another detail is the tendency of the bike to autonomously close the line and the aerodynamic research made that helps it keep the front wheel on the ground in any track situation. Thus, the wheelie control has a less incisive intervention on power delivery. We are talking about a 234 hp superbike that weighs only 152 kg.
Valia also said that the chassis balance was set to make the superbike as easy to use as possible. In the video, the 2020 Ducati Superleggera V4 reaches 307 kmh, so it might not be limited to 299 kmh like any other superbike.
We just have to wait a couple of hours for the 2020 Ducati Superleggera V4 to be officially launched.
