The basic Africa Twin is about €1,000 more expensive than the outgoing model.
Honda is about to officially announce the 2020 Africa Twin prices in major European markets. While the price is not available yet on the official websites, the major publications in Europe got the pieces of information from the dealers. The new model will be available in November.
The standard 2020 Africa Twin will cost 14,700 euros in Germany and 14,900 euros in Italy (difference due to taxes). That means it's about €1,000 more expensive than the outgoing model. Meanwhile, the Adventure Sports in DCT version with the electronic suspension feature will be the most costly Africa Twin ever, getting into the KTM 1290 Adventure/ BMW R1250GS territory.

The 2020 CRF1100l Adventure Sports will come in two different versions – with and without the semi-active suspension. The price above is for the top-spec variant. The semi-active suspension feature costs around €1,200-€1,500.
What you're getting for the money? There's a six-axes Inertial Measurement Unit that enables wheelie control, rear-lift control and cornering ABS. There's also a new TFT dash with Apple Car Play, and, when it comes to the Adventure Sports version, tubeless tires and cornering lights.
