Arai Renegade-v. New Helmet for Cruiser Riders

Arai Renegade-V. New helmet for cruiser riders 1

After a three years collaboration with Harley-Davidson within the Asian market, Arai introduced the Renegade-V at EICMA 2017. It’s specially developed for matching cruiser motorcycles such as Harley-Davidson or the Ducati X-Diavel.

The lines of the Arai Renegade-V chin area were sculpted to convey a strong look, and you can imagine the chiselled face of a rugby player or a martial arts master in top form, according to Arai.

The four front intake slots, combined with the four side exhaust slots create an effective internal air flow (14 liters of air per minute), providing excellent ventilation. Arai says that the key to this high performance are the side ducts that remove hot air from the inside, which are connected directly to the interior via high performance air channels. These are hidden behind the cheek pads, connect the two side exhaust slots to the interior and pull air out of the helmet.

Arai Renegade-V costs from €609 (single color) to €720 (multi-color) price tag. It weighs 1,620g.

The new Arai helmet also features a pinlock insert, antimicrobial lier, repleaceable interior and speaker pockets. The interior is washable and it comes with a Double-D ring device.
