Hand-painted and accented with 23-karat gold
Indian Motorcycle spices up its lineup for next year with an exclusive, hand-painted big touring machine. The Roadmaster comes now in an Elite version packed with chrome parts, a state-of-the-art paint job, and even gold leaf badging on the tank and lowers. Unfortunately, the Roadmaster Elite will be produced in a limited run.
The highlight of the Elite is, without a doubt, the eye-catching paintwork. To achieve the translucent cobalt blue hue, the folks from Indian spent over 70 hours of work and sprayed around 20 coats of paint. Each bike is painted manually, and in order to give it a royal air, the gas tank is embellished with real gold leaf.
The flowing lines are completed by the chromed bumpers that add up to the bike’s shine. The engine covers come with gold finish logos that make the bike even more luxurious.
The Elite comes fitted with the Thunder Stroke 111 engine inspired by the 1940s Power Plus power plant. The coolest feature of this motorcycle is the huge torque at low rpm that allows the rider to accelerate regardless of the selected gear.
The Ride Command infotainment interface and a premium quality sound system that produces 300 watts come fitted as standard. The list of features also includes heated seats, keyless ride, electronically-adjustable windshield, leather armrest for the passenger, and floorboards for the rider and passenger. For enhanced safety, the bike features an ABS system as well as increased weather protection from the hard lowers.
The price for the exclusive Roadmaster Elite is $36,999, with the first examples expected to arrive in dealerships this fall. If you want to own one of these beauties, you better start saving now.
