We just got back from the Pure&Crafted Festival in Amsterdam: a lot of cool custom and concept bikes, some real pieces of art, rock’n’roll, hot gear and lots of artisans – it’s a custom festival after all.
BMW unveiled there its 2020 Heritage Collection – leather jackets, denim, boots, a helmet, and some cool t-shirts and streetwear. The new Heritage Collection was inspired by the vintage BMW culture, and it will be available starting February 2020.
Besides that, a lot of custom builders, some fantastic works, and craft equipment. It’s all about being stylish and unique in this custom culture, after all. The two stages hosted bands from the local indie scene, and there was a constant rock’n’roll vibe all over the place.
The second day we got to the DGR 2019. It was torrential rain outside, and since we didn’t bring our dapper rain suits, we had to borrow some. Still, the bikes were very stylish. I joined the ride on the new BMW R nineT/5. And, by coincidence, a guy was riding the original /5 who parked his bike next to mine.
The ride was 1h15minutes long and took place right outside Amsterdam, in the Dutch countryside. Here’s the DriveMag Riders video from the event.
