The three new models will arrive in every show-room worldwide before the end of April this year
Two years ago, Husqvarna released two revolutionary looking bikes that were very appreciated. The Vitpilen and Svartpilen share the same retro-modern cafe racer theme, and they seem to fit the urban scene. The blend between the minimalistic design and unique details makes the latest Husqvarna bikes very desirable.
The 401 models are made on a KTM 390 platform while the 701 Vitpilen comes with a larger displacement. The 701 shares the same engine with the rest of Husqvarna’s 701 Supermoto and Enduro that was borrowed from the KTM 790. All three motorcycles will be available to purchase in North American, South American, Asian and Australian dealers before the end of April.
The smaller Vitpilen and Svartpilen are already available at dealers around Europe. The Vitpilen 701 will be available this month. The prices are not available yet, but we already know that the Husqvarna 701 Supermoto goes for $11,300 the Vitpilen and Svartpilen 401 will have a similar price tag while the bigger Vitpilen will probably go for around $14.000. Considering that the main rival for the Vitpilen 701 is the Ducati Scrambler that sells for around $9,900, Husqvarna will have to come closer to that amount.
The company also offers a dedicated range of gear and accessories for the Vitpilen/Svartpilen range. If you’ve decided to buy yourself one of them you should visit your local dealer by the end of this month and check the prices and availability.
