Massimo Tartarini, Italjet President, announced that the production would begin in May. Now the start of production has been postponed again. The Italjet Dragster Limited Edition is set to start manufacturing the limited edition models from September.
The Italjet Dragster Limited Edition features an Independent Steering System (ISS) that has a new front single-arm made from aerospace aluminium alloy. The front suspension is fitted with horizontal BITUBO hydraulic adjustable shocks which offer no travel effect for the front-end.
The standard Italjet Dragster is available in three options – with 125cc, 150cc or 200cc four-stroke liquid-cooled single-cylinder engines with Magneti Marelli electronic injection and a double overhead camshaft. The power figures are between 15 hp and 20 hp. There are no details regarding the displacement of the limited edition version.
Italjet priced the standard Dragster at €4,800 for the 125cc version on the Italian market while the 200cc model costs €5,400. Most likely, the limited edition version will have a slightly higher price tag.
