The mighty KLX is back

The Japanese manufacturer brings back on the market the KLX250. The new KLX250 is set to perform on asphalt and off-road while remaining Kawasaki’s most fuel-efficient motorcycle. It now features an injection system and KX attitude.

The production of the KLX250 was on hold for the last three years. This year Kawasaki decided to put it back on the roads with a few important improvements. The key features are the new fuel injection system, full digital instrumentation, revised suspension and the attractive price.

For $5,349 you get a reliable dual sports bike with aggressive KX looks and huge off-road abilities. The coolest part of the 250 cc engine is the injection system and the electric starter. This way you will never have problems restarting the engine on the trail. The curb weight is 304lb (138 kg) making the KLX the ideal bike for any type of rider.

The handling is increased due to the fully adjustable suspension and large dimension wheels. The front wheel is 21 inch, while the rear is 18. This way the rider gets a comfortable ride no matter the road.

The Kawasaki KLX250 might be the perfect balance between the build quality and price between dual sports bikes. Its main opposition will be the Honda CRF 250L  that comes with similar features and price.
