The 790 Adventure is built around the 799 LC8c inline-twin engine, that develops 95 horsepower. Compared to the street version, this one was tuned to offer more torque in the lower rpm range. The dry weight: 189 kg – which means that the wet weight should be somewhere around 210 kg. There’s a 20 litre low-positioned fuel tank that ensures a claimed 450 km range. The R version is focused on performance, with different suspension and a generous package of electronics that includes cornering ABS and four riding modes.
We’re eager to test the new KTM Middleweight. Meanwhile, here’s an in-depth interview with the 790 Adventure product manager.
