Valentino Rossi has broken the tibia and fibula bones on his right leg on Thursday. It happen in a training near his hometown in Italy. The Movistar Yamaha pilot was under surgery last night and we’re waiting for updates on his condition.
However, this accident might vanish Rossi’s hopes for the tenth world title. He was very close, with only 26 points behind the leader Andrea Dovizioso and only six races to go. It’s hard to believe the Doctor could race on 10th of September at San Marino.
The fractures are on his right leg, the same one he has broken in 2010 during an enduro training.
