Technical updates for the Suzuki super-naked
Suzuki GSX-S1000 and GSX-S1000F (same bike, but with fairings and a higher windscreen) get 150 horsepower and a slippery clutch for 2017.
The power and torque update is a minor one – until now these bikes were capable of 143 horsepower. So, more likely Suzuki engineers had a better fueling in their minds, not just a simple horsepower figure.
There were some journalists complaining about the unrefined fueling and maybe Suzuki wanted to fix the issue.
As for the slippery-clutch, it was a necessary feature for Suzuki GSX-S1000 to keep the pace with its competitors in the super naked market.
There are minor visual updates also, such as new black levers and foot control, while the F version got a tinted windshield.
