This 86 Year Old Rider Plays with his Trial Motorcycle 1

“I try to get out, maybe ten minutes a day, keep fit, keep on the pace, keep my hand in, keep my eye in”

Age is just a number they say and looking at this video we agree. Sammy Miller is a former racer with over 1,300 wins at trials events. Also, he raced an Ariel bike at the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy and an NSU machine at the North West 200. Now, he rides a BSA C15 motorcycle at a practice course around the Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum in Hampshire, UK.

There is nothing much to do with this current lockdown around the world, but that’s not a reason to keep Sammy Miller off his motorcycle. Besides, training at the museum, the rider is also a mechanic as back in the day he was asked by Bultaco to help and develop a Sherpa bike into a trials motorcycle. Later, that machine became what is known today as the Sherpa T – a model that changed what a trials motorcycle should be.

Great job Mr. Miller.
