Hopefully, new Monster Energy colours will change the team’s luck
The Yamaha Factory Racing MotoGP team just unveiled their brand new 2019 YZR-M1 in Jakarta, Indonesia. To spice things up, the livery took a bold new approach combining the iconic Yamaha blue with the Monster Energy black that brings up an aggressive phase “Beast mode on”.
Both Maverick Vinales and Valentino Rossi are confident about their new livery and they feel prepared for the 2019 season. The Italian rider stated: “For me it’s a long time with Monster and I always feel very comfortable. I like the colours, the green and black are good with the blue of our Yamaha – it’s aggressive, we’re like Men in Black. I’m very proud, it’s important to have Monster as a main sponsor.”
Fortunately, we don’t have to wait too long before we can see the new YZR-M1 at work. The first run out will take place at the Sepang racetrack when the official test will be going to kick off on Wednesday the 6th of February.
