TVS Motorcycle Company is working on a hybrid drive system. You probably may know TVS for producing BMW’s small displacement bikes, the G 310 R and the G 310 GS, but it’s not just that. Their latest creation, the Zeppelin, is a small displacement cruiser that uses a conventional engine and an electric one at the same time.
The idea behind the concept is pretty cool due to the combination of a 220cc gas powered single-cylinder engine and a 1200 watt electric drive system powered by a 48-volt battery. The hybrid system sounds very interesting, but it might be a bit late considering the emerging electric market.
The Zeppelin is shaped like a cruiser, and we must say it looks pretty good. Of course there’s a bit of Indian magic that comes with the concept with a high-definition camera fitted right, next to the headlight probably to record your journey. We are not sure if this concept will ever head into production, but it might gain a few fans.
