Yamaha redesigned the bike that marked its market rebirth. The new MT-09 [FZ-09 in the USA] comes with a more aggressive look and an updated suspension.

First of all, it’s got a new LED headlight. It is a way more aggressive approach than the old single headlight. Now it looks similar to the one used by its older brother – the MT-10.
Then, let’s have a look at the tail. The subframe is shorter than the one on the old model, and there is a plate-number holder mounted on the swinging arm.
The old Yamaha MT-09 had some problems with the fork, so the Japanese guys updated the front suspension. Now we got an improved fully-adjustable fork. Nothing changed to the rear shock.
The new Yamaha MT-09 also has a different and higher seat.
