Yamaha Tenere 700 Available on the US Market from June 1

Priced under $10,000, the Japanese adventure bike promises to be a competitor on the US motorcycle market

Yamaha Motor USA announced that the middleweight adventure bike is set to hit the dealership network next week. Tenere 700 is fitted with a 72 hp parallel twin, 21 front/ 18 rear, tube-type tires, switchable ABS and more than 350 km range.

Back in 2018, Yamaha said that the Tenere 700 will be a 2021 model year bike for the US motorcycle market with the delivery date set for the second half of 2020. After a three and a half year wait, the middleweight adventure bike is arriving on the US market one month earlier than it was expected.

Priced at $9,999 the bike has an affordable price tag, but the competition is fierce as it’ll have to face its rivals which are

Fitted with a 689cc parallel-twin making 72 hp, 21-inch front tire, switchable ABS for tackling the offroad, long-travel suspension and a range exceeding 350 km, the Yamaha Tenere 700 should be a good option for adventure riders.
