Yamaha Tenere 700 Is Production Ready. Here’s Why

Although presented as a prototype, the Tenere is 90% in its final shape

Yamaha presented the Tenere prototype, derived from the T7 concept. Rubber hoses, passenger footpegs, and a new dash. There are some elements that make us think this Tenere is in its final shape. Forget about the carbon fiber fairings, though. You won’t have them in the series production model.

The only thing we’re not sure about is why the guys at Yamaha didn’t launch it yet. Is there any fine tuning to be done? Or is it just a marketing campaign. But it doesn’t matter too much – what matters is that it will hit the dealers’ floor soon.
