Suzuki V-Strom 1000 vs. KTM 1190 Adventure R in Mongolia. Testimonial 1

Meet Mihai and Adrian – two guys that set off on a journey to Mongolia. The bikes: a 2015 Suzuki V-Strom 1000 and a 2015 KTM 1190 Adventure R. Two months, 25.000 km, and a lot of memories.

This is not our usual review. It’s not ours, and it’s not a journalistic review, but the unfiltered experience of two motorcyclists that set off on a trip to Mongolia on their bikes. We just asked them to share us their experience, the problems they encountered, the most impressive views and some video footage.

They left Romania on 16.06.2017 on the following route: Bulgaria, Turkey, Georgia, Russia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turcia, Bulgaria, Romania. What a ride!

Mihai is a 33 years old engineer living in Bucharest, married and having one child. His 2015 KTM 1190 Adventure R has 39.000 km right now, and he bought it with 4.700 km. He had a lot of tire punctures.

Adrian is a 39 years old economist living in Bucharest, married and having two children. His 2015 Suzuki V-Strom 1000 has 56.000 km right now, and he bought it as a new bike two years ago. He had broken his rear shock. No puncture.
