Behind the old-fashioned and cool fairing, there’s an electric engine
Vespa unveiled its Elettrica scooter in Milan. Although presented as a concept, it will hit the market in the second half of 2017.
The Vespa guys say that it will be a “True Vespa, bringing the very latest in electric technology to a vehicle that will retain all the features that have been vital to its success.” And those elements are: “style, agility, ease of use and riding pleasure.”
Well, beyond the PR words, the Elettrica looks like any other Vespa – a gorgeous piece of style that puts some holiday plans in your mind. Same chassis, same retro design, same small-diameter wheels.
We have no details about the range yet, but being a Piaggio product it should be satisfying enough.
