Ducati unveiled the new Scrambler Cafe Racer & Desert Sled

Two new family members will join the Ducati Scrambler range. Both new models share the same Scrambler platform: the 803 cc air-cooled, two-valve L-twin cylinder mounted on a steel trellis frame and fitted with a steel gas tank.

This small enduro-inspired machine seems to fit better in the Scrambler role. A 19-inch front wheel and a 17 rear equipped with dual-sport tires and an old school bench saddle are the first things you notice when you look at this model. The gold rims and air-cooled engine nicely blend in the theme. With a fully adjustable suspension and a motocross-looking handlebar and footpegs, the Desert Sled seems ready to handle all the urban challenges and even trails.

Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer

We all love black and gold bike themes, and the Ducati Cafe Racer looks nice. And if you’re wondering about that 54 number plate on each side, you should know that it’s related to the Ducati rider Bruno Spaggiari, famous in the 50s.

The Scrambler Cafe Racer comes with a steel gas tank, and the tail unit seems to be inspired from the older Monster.

The clip-on handlebars and cafe racer looking mirrors are fitting the cafe racer theme while the black anodized Termignoni exhaust completes the performance package. The engine develops 75 hp with a curb weight of 188 kg. The coolest feature of the racer is probably the number plate holder. It is fitted on the swingarm to match the clean cafe racer look.
