BMW updated the boxer engine for 2019 – they increased the engine displacement and added the Shiftcam technology that offers more grunt – the new R1250GS and R1250RT come with an increased output and torque: 100 kW (136 hp) at 7 750 rpm and 143 Nm at 6 250 rpm (previously: 92 kW (125 hp) at 7 750 rpm and 125 Nm at 6 500 rpm. Now, you have 110 NM of torque from 2.000 rpm and 120 Nm of torque from 3.500 rpm.
