Motorcycle adventures to Alaska, the Middle East or even races like extreme enduro and rally raid. It looks like there’s no challenge these girl riders can’t take.
Rosie Gabrielle, 34, @rosiegabrielle
Rosie is a 34 years old Canadian motorcycle adventure traveller who rides solo around the world.
Rosie films her trips using GoPro and drone cameras. Her latest motorcycle adventure took her to Pakistan. For the South part of the country, she has ridden a BMW F700GS and for the North, she used her Tekken 250.
The latest motorcycle trip to Pakistan is not Rosie’s first time in the South of Asia. Last year she travelled on an 11,000 km journey through the country and ridden for ten months. Some of the places she visited and impressed here were Chakwal, Karachi, Gwadar, Skardu and Ranikot Fort.
Itchy Boots, 32, @itchybootstravel
Noraly is a Dutch adventure motorcycle girl who likes to travel solo and see the world on a bike.
Some of her motorcycle trips took her through India’s Nagaland and Manipur to the border with Myanmar. The journey was 3,000 kilometres long and Itchy ridden a Royal Enfield Himalayan bike, which she rented, through the Himalayan mountains.
Itchy named her motorcycle “Basanti” and ridden it on a 36,000 kilometres journey. Her adventure took her on a path from India to Malaysia, the Middle East and Iran, through Russia, the Caucasus, Turkey and back to The Netherlands.
What’s next? Well, her latest trip ended in The Netherlands because of paperwork issues. Now, she has a 2019 Royal Enfield Himalayan motorcycle and started a new motorcycle journey riding from Argentina, through the Americas and she plans to ride to Alaska.
Kinga Tanajewska, 39, @onherbike
Kinga planned to travel the world starting from Australia. She had a couple of trips featuring journeys through South Korea, Mongolia, Russia, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, the Italian Alps, Egypt and Australia to name a few.
She rides a BMW F800GS and her latest motorcycle adventure is Ethiopia which is the 36th country she visited.
Vanessa Ruck, @thegirlonabike
Vanessa is an English motorcycle rider who grew up riding quad-bikes. She had a passion for extreme sports, but an accident made her stop and motorcycles replaced kite surfing, snowboarding and mountain biking.
Some of her motorcycle adventures included a 2,700 miles trip through Europe’s best Alpine passes on a HOG event. She has ridden a 2018 Harley-Davidson Sport Glide. Other trips featured countries like Ukraine, Spain and the US.
One trip on her bucket list is to ride the Route 66 – 2,448 miles across eight states and three time zones in one day.
Now, she is training on her Husqvarna TE 250i and on a KTM 790 Adventure in the UK to race in the Red Bull Romaniacs (an extreme enduro race in Romania) and Hellas Rally Raid – seven days of riding on the remote areas of Central Greece mountains.
Jocelin Snow, @jocelinsnow
Jocelin’s an East Cost motorcyclist who likes to race. She participated in the 2017 BMW GS Trophy Qualifiers in the US and South Africa where she managed to earn a spot in the International Women's team. The rider also raced in the 2018 BMW International GS Trophy held in Mongolia. She rode a BMW R1200GS, competed in the AusAmerican team and finished 15th overall.
Some of her motorcycle adventures include journeys through Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Colombia and Alaska.
Jocelin likes to train on her BMW R1200GS and R1250GS at events like the GS Trophy or Touratech and in the past, she organized and led a couple of multi-day tours in Colombia, South Africa and the US.
One adventure on her bucket list is to ride through Patagonia.
Jennifer Maria O’Grady, @jonpogrady
Jennifer has a passion for travelling around the world on her BMW G650 XCountry bike. The riders' job helps her on this matter as she works for Ride Unlimited which includes organizing motorcycle journies.
Other bikes she has ridden are Yamaha XT660 and Honda CB500X.
Some of her last adventures were through Russia, Italy, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan, to name a few.
Now, she is on a journey through New Zeeland and plans to ride again in July to Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
Lea Rieck, 34, @lea_rieck
Lea is a 34 years old German adventure motorcyclist who ridden over 90,000 km around the world through 50 countries.
Some of the motorcycles she has ridden include models from Ducati like the Multistrada, Supersport and Hypermotard, Triumph Tiger 800, Honda Africa Twin and a 125cc Honda.
She has ridden to Pakistan, through temples and palaces in India, to Australia, Chile, Bolivia and Guinea. Lea also wrote a book about her motorcycle adventures named “Sag dem Abenteuer, ich komme” – which means “Tell the adventure I'm coming”.
Now she’s travelling around Africa on her Tenere 700.
Jess Zekusn, @ridingwiththewolf
Jess is a Belgian rider who likes to ride her KTM 790 Adventure motorcycle on different adventures throughout the world. One of her latest trips was through countries like Tunisia, Belgium, Spain and Germany.
Other motorcycles she has ridden feature a BMW sidecar, Ducati Multistrada Enduro and BMW R1100GS.
The next motorcycle adventure she plans is to visit again through Spain.
