Brand New Suzuki GSX-R125 Revealed at Intermot 1

Suzuki comes up with a small class sporstbike

After the GSX-R 1000 release, we got a small surprise from Suzuki at Intermot. The Japanese manufacturer marks its entrance in the small class sports bike with the GSX-R125. We would rather expect a 300CC bike, but Suzuki starts from the basics.

The new GSX-R125 is mostly intended for the youth and beginners. It features a cool looking LCD dashboard and a key-less-go system. The looks follow the lines of the GSX-R family, and although it gets a LED headlight it may not be the coolest looking 125-er on the market.

We don’t have the specs for this new model, but Suzuki claims it can perform at least as good as the Yamaha YZF-R125  or even better. The whole package looks pretty conventional, no up-side-down fork or radial calipers, just a conventional and narrow entry level bike. Suzuki says it will be available next summer with the lowest price tag between its pieers (according to Suzuki, which didn't reveal the price yet).
