The Ducati Race of Champions is over and now you can get one of the amazing Panigale V4 S machines that took part in it. Troy Bayliss’ auction is already north of €120,000
This year’s World Ducati Week (WDW) mustered the biggest audience ever, with 90,000 fans arriving from all over the world to the Misano World Circuit. The highlight of this amazing meeting was the Race of Champions, an event that saw some of the biggest names in road racing at the moment.
Attendants witnessed the likes of Jorge Lorenzo, Andrea Dovizioso, Marco Melandri, Michelle Pirro and the legendary Troy Bayliss fighting the younger guns Xavier Simenon, Jack Miller or Tito Rabat on the Misano tarmac. The Race of Champions was won by Ducati’s long-standing test pilot Michele Pirro, who also started from pole, a most notable result that crowns the efforts and dedication he puts into developing Ducati’s superbikes and MotoGP prototypes.
Now, the 12 Ducati Panigale V4 S that took part in the race are up for public auction on eBay. The auction ends on July 28, so you still have time to figure out if you’re willing to bring home one or more of these beauties. Each Panigale V4 S comes with a special livery inspired from the rider who used it in the Race of Champions.
Even though Troy Bayliss finished the race in the last position, his bike is currently the most valued in the entire auction. At the time of writing, no less than 133 bids were placed, taking the price to a whopping €120,300, a significant premium over the base price of the V4 S.
Next comes Andrea Dovizioso’s Panigale, albeit at a great distance, currently at €45,100, with Lorenzo’s machine close behind at €41,550 and the winner’s bike at €41,350. The cheapest Race of Champions Panigale is Xavi Simeon’s, at €28,650.
Follow the auction on Ducati’s official eBay page and place your bids for these unique Panigale V4 S bikes.
