Not a concept anymore. It will hit the market by spring 2018
Husqvarna 701 Vitpilen is powered by the same single-cylinder engine on the 701 Supermoto and Enduro (74 hp) but features a minimalistic new-retro styling. It will be a rival for the Ducati Scrambler.
Unlike the concept, the serial production version features a single-disc front wheel, and a Brembo four-piston radial caliper. This makes not as good looking as the concept we seen last year, but it should be ok in terms of performance.
Also, the 701 logo on the headlight was replaced by the Husqvarna logo – and it still looks great.
The clip-on handlebars should offer a sporty riding position, and the WP fork is adjustable for rebound and compression.
The ABS can be switched off.
The fuel tank capacity: 12 liters.
The seat height: 830 mm.
Besides the 701 Vitpilen, the 401 Vitpilen and Svartpielen will also be available on the market. The 701 Svartpilen was presented just as a concept for now.
Husqvarna also unveiled a range of Vitpilen motorcycle clothing.
