SW Motech’s EVO lights come in two different versions: EVO Fog Lights and EVO High Beam. Both featuring LED technology, they have a €300 price tag.
They are water and rustproof and come with a illuminated green handlebar switch for easy handling. SW Motech also gives you universal light clamps for crash bar mounting or on bike specific light mounts for frame mounting – the latter ones are soled separately. Details.
Touratech gives you another auxiliary light option for €418 a set. They also come with a control units and with a “wehicle-specific” attachment for headlight and control units. Optionally, you can fit a headlight protection for these LED ligts. Details.
Both products have quite the same energy consumption (12-13W) thanks to the LED technology, compared to halogen lights.
The Cheap Option
Still, the cheapest option is the Amazon-way. The Lumitecs S3, coming with handlebar switch and “plug and play wiring”, cost $251,89. However, they have a 600 lumens visibility compared to SW Motech’s 1100.
