The baby Multistrada packs 113 hp in a compact size
With an 113 hp 937 cc Testastretta engine and a fully adjustable suspension, it acts as an high-spec but more friendly alternative to Ducati’s adventure sport 1200 Multistrada.
Finally a reality, the smaller displacement Multistrada keeps the same design, but it’s more compact than its bigger sibling. Although lighter, the Multistrada 950 is still a heavy bike. With a 226 kg wet weight, it can’t match Yamaha Tracer 900’s 210 kg wet weight.
The seat height is 840 mm, but unlike the 1200 model, the seat is non-adjustable. The front tire size is 120/70 R19, while the back is a 170/60 R17, slimmer than Multistrada 1200’s 190. Both wheels are fitted with Pirelli Scorpion Trail II Tires.
Its Testastretta 950 cc engine develops 113 hp and a maximum torque of 96.2 Nm, while the 19-inch front guarantees a comfortable ride.
The Multistrada 950 is also equipped with the DSP (Ducati Safety Pack) that includes ABS (three-level intervention), Traction Control (eight levels), and four different riding modes: sport, touring, urban and enduro.
The dash is an all-new LCD unit, and the fork is fully-adjustable for rebound and compression.
