The Pen Experiment. How Visible We Really Are in Traffic

This simple, but revealing experiment shows us that we’re just a dot on the asphalt. It was made by a Canadian officer and it’s a safety demonstration and a message about sharing the road. Let’s watch it.

So, what do we have to do to be observed in traffic? The lights should always be on, some auxiliary lights will always make you more visible, and wearing bright colour gear will make the difference. But, more important, let’s assume that the car drivers are blind and don’t see us coming, just to be prepared for any possibility.
