Tricked out custom bike built for Italian rock singer.
Oscar Tasso of D&G Motorsport, Yamaha’s Rimini dealership in Italy, got his hands on a Tracer 900 GT model. And the final result is a special limited edition custom motorcycle dubbed Yamaha 847 R. It was built for Vasco Rossi, an Italian singer, and features an elegant black paint scheme with golden rims.
Oscar Tasso is a motorcycle enthusiast whose name is linked to Yamaha for quite a while now. He created for the Iwata brand the Seven model which is a custom YARD built XSR700 model showcased this year at Motor Bike Expo, but also the Nove model, in other words, a custom XSR 900 tracker, finished in the garage of Vasco Rossi. And this leads us to this Yamaha custom motorcycle.
The idea of building this motorcycle started back in 2018, but Tasso had to put o hold on his thoughts and build the two special models we’ve mentioned earlier.
Oscar Tasso focused on manufacturing a motorcycle featuring Japanese efficiency with Italian flair. The Yamaha 847 R features a matte black paint scheme and to make it stand out, Tasso fitted some golden rims. Also, the golded fork blends in with the forged rims while the polished stainless steel spokes and tubeless tires complete the package. Other features include the standard components such as LED headlights, radiator grille, sports license plate holder and the full Akrapovic exhaust.
The rest of the bike is similar to the standard version. It still has the same 847cc inline-three engine making 114 hp and 88 Nm of torque.
D&G Motorsport offers the possibility to order the Yamaha 847 R. Moreover, every customer will have his name engraved on the plate showing the bike’s serial number. Unfortunately, there are no details regarding the price tag.
