The story starts in Valparaiso, Chile, the place we shipped our R1200GS motorcycles from Europe. We’re traveling through the barren but fabulous Atacama desert, then on some impressive coast roads that take us to a fantastic scenery. Then we’ll have a stop in San Pedro de Atacama, a perfect base to explore a 5,000 meters altitude volcanic plateau where we find the delicate flamingo birds.
